National Street Lighting Maintenance Framework

Ongoing Nationwide, Uganda 3-Year Contract

A three-year national framework contract for the supply, installation, and maintenance of street lighting across Uganda's entire road network. As a framework contractor for UNRA — the government body responsible for all national roads — Granton Power is one of a select group of companies certified to deliver street lighting works at scale, across every major corridor in the country. This is Granton's largest and most strategically significant engagement to date.

Borehole Solarization — Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

Solarization of three boreholes serving Zone 4 of Bidibidi Refugee Settlement — one of the world's largest refugee settlements, hosting over 270,000 South Sudanese refugees in Uganda's West Nile region. By replacing diesel-powered pumps with solar systems, Granton Power eliminated fuel dependency entirely, ensuring consistent clean water access year-round for thousands of families regardless of fuel supply chains or budget cycles.

Soroti–Moroto Highway Solar Street Lighting

Completed Sep 2023 Soroti–Moroto Corridor, Lot 2 Civil & Solar Works

Solar street light supply and installation along Lot 2 of the Soroti–Moroto highway — one of Uganda's flagship national infrastructure projects connecting the northeast Karamoja region to the rest of the country. The road upgrade from gravel to full bitumen standard was contracted to China Railway No.3 Engineering Group; Granton Power delivered the solar street lighting works as a specialist subcontractor, bringing reliable illumination to a critical corridor that had previously been unlit.
